Traveling military personnel, Retired, U. S. Veterans and their authorized dependents. Proper military ID and same day travel, via MIA, documents are required. Our Military Hospitality Lounge is also available to all friendly nation military. With proper military ID and travel documents, you can gain access to our lounge.
Traveling military personnel, Retirees, U. S. Veterans and their authorized dependents, are welcome at the lounge. Proper military ID and same day travel, via MIA, documents are required. However, exceptions are made for military personnel, retirees and veterans, who are not traveling, but are awaiting a family member or other service personnel, veteran or retiree. This includes use of our computers for access to their reservations or itinerary.
We are located on Concourse E, 2nd level just before entering TSA’s security in the public area at the beginning of Concourse E. Look for signs directing you to the Military Hospitality Lounge. For more information press AFSC Location or call the lounge is 305-876-7585

We are unable to accommodate overnight stays. Our hours of operations are from 9 AM to 9 PM daily. The airport does have a hotel within the terminal. It is located right before the security checkpoint on the 2nd floor in Concourse E. The telephone is 305-871-4100 . There are also a number of hotels around Miami International Airport.
All guests traveling with Luggage or Back Packs are required to store them in our secure Baggage / Luggage area. Exceptions can be made for smaller pack that are 12″X12″X17″ or smaller. Volunteer on duty will measure the Back Pack in a Sizer box. If it fits, you will be allowed to bring the Back Pack into the lounge area. While not in use, the Back Packs must be kept between your feet, while sitting, or under a nearby table. TSA requires that when you leave the lounge, for any reason, you must take your Baggage, Luggage or Back Packs with you, even if you are planning to return to the lounge at a later time. For those guest with long layovers, who wish to tour the city, MIA does have a Baggage Checkroom called Continental Storage. It is located in the Central Terminal Concourse E and it is open from 5 AM to 9 PM. For more information call 305-869-1163
Many of the hotels have free van services to the hotel and back to the airport. When you contact the hotel, ask when and where the courtesy van pick up passengers.

There is always something going on in Miami and Miami Beach. Miami has a good transportation system, to and from the airport, so making a day trip to Miami or Miami Beach is easy and economical. Please view the following sites: Miami Newtimes and Shopping at Miami Airport
Lounge is open to members of the military and their families. Only requirement is that you have proper military ID and same day travel documents. We are able to keep our doors open through the generosity of the private sector, and our guest. We are not affiliated with the USO, nor do we receive any funding from the USO, or the government.
Yes, we have several rooms that can be reserved for either local business, fly IN / OUT or common meeting place for small or large groups.
